As reported, according to the state investment program for 2023, Belarus provides for the construction of a number of new military infrastructure facilities.
So, a new military training ground will be built in the Gomel region in 2023-2025. It costs 11 million dollars.
Earlier, Gayun reported that at the end of May 2022, the creation of a new (third) operational command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus – Southern (SOC) was announced. The construction of the test site in the Gomel region is likely to be connected with the formation of new military units for South OK.
It should be reminded that from January 16 to February 1, joint tactical flight training of aviation units of the Russian Federation and Belarus was held on the territory of Belarus.
