The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine condemned the vandalism committed by unknown persons on the Days of Remembrance.

In the Netherlands, in the city of Nijmegen, unknown people desecrated a military cemetery: Nazi symbols, Ukrainian flags were painted on its territory, and the words Azov and Ukraine were written. About that saying goodbye Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned an act of vandalism committed by unknown persons on Remembrance Days: May 4 in the Netherlands honors the memory of those killed in World War II, and May 5 is marked the Day of the Liberation of the Netherlands from the Nazis.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has no doubt that this is a provocation aimed at discrediting Ukraine.

“We strongly condemn the vandalism committed at the Jonkerbos military cemetery in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. We consider this action a cruel insult to the memory of the victims of World War II and a provocation, including against Ukraine,” said the ministry in a statement.

Recall that representatives of criminals and accomplices were detained in Odessa, who planned to organize riots and protests in the city on May 2. Seized weapons, explosives, instructions for the DRG.
