“The President of Ukraine told his colleagues about the situation on the battlefield and the defense needs of Ukraine, in particular, about military aviation, armored vehicles, artillery and air defense,” the message said.
Zelensky emphasized that the timely provision of the necessary equipment in the necessary volumes will allow the just peace to be restored as soon as possible, as well as to protect the interests and values of Europe.
Separately, the head of state called for the removal of gaps in the policy of sanctions against Russia and to speed up the creation of an effective compensation mechanism.
Recall that on Thursday, February 9, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky turned to Heger and asked for military assistance in Kyiv – to move the MiG-29 aircraft. The latter assured that Bratislava will do everything possible for this.
