Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Vuhledar, Volnovakhsky district, Donetsk region, captured a group of marines of the Russian army.
This was announced on February 9 by war correspondent Andrei Tsaplienko, who published the corresponding video.
Recall, the experts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) noticed that the Russian army launched a new large-scale offensive in the Lugansk region, however, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not allow the enemy to achieve significant success. According to analysts, the offensive will reach its climax when the enemy engages units of the 2nd motorized rifle division, but the combat capability of the infidels may dry up on this. The full involvement of Russian troops can lead to their exhaustion along the Svatovo-Kremennaya line, so it will not be possible to capture the entire Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that Russia may try to attack Kharkiv or Zaporozhye region.
