This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Lithuania Arvydas Anushauskas at a joint briefing with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
“As part of this visit, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and I discussed further assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, military arming and training. Lithuania will continue to provide all possible benefits for the victory of Ukraine. We are transferring 36 anti-aircraft missile systems that can successfully combat drones.” – said the Lithuanian official.
He added that his country has trained 15 Ukrainian instructors, which will allow them to work with the new anti-aircraft systems.
Reznikov emphasized that such training is a modernization of Ukrainian military training.
“This allows our instructors in Ukraine to train more personnel to work with new weapons,” the Ukrainian minister summarized.
As we already wrote, Arvydas Anushauskas came to Ukraine on an unannounced visit.
