Orban promised Ukraine more support

Budapest stands for an immediate ceasefire and belongs to a peaceful camp, the Hungarian prime minister stressed.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban pledged further support to Ukraine, stressing that Budapest “belongs to the peace camp.” He wrote about it on Twitter on February 9 before a summit with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Important EU summit today with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Hungary will continue to provide humanitarian and financial support to Ukraine. We support an immediate ceasefire to prevent further loss of human life. Hungary belongs to the camp of peace!” – stressed the head of the Hungarian government.

Earlier, Orban made many scandalous statements about Ukraine, in particular, compared it to Afghanistan and called it “no man’s land.”

In addition, the politician believes that the war will end as soon as Washington stops supporting Kyiv with weapons.
