On February 7, soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Mi-24 helicopter in the vicinity of Bakhmut.

On February 7, at 14.12, in the area of the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut, the National Guardsmen discovered two enemy Mi-24 helicopters, one target was captured and destroyed by an anti-aircraft gunner from the Igla-1 MANPADS, the report says.
The helicopter, after being hit by a rocket, began to lose altitude and descend – the fate of the pilot is unknown. The National Guardsmen indicated that the Russian attack helicopter inflicted fire damage on the units of the National Guard and provided air cover for enemy infantry advancing on the line of defense of the defenders of Ukraine.
The Mi-24 is one of the fastest attack helicopters in the world and already the third Russian helicopter shot down by units of the third operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine during a full-scale invasion.
Also on February 7, in the Zaporozhye direction, border guards, together with the Defense Forces, discovered and neutralized an enemy quadrocopter MAVIC3 using an anti-drone gun.
