Two “train partisans” from Mazyr in Belarus were sentenced to 14 and 16 years in prison. This was reported on Wednesday, February 8, by the Belarusian project of Radio Liberty called Radio Svaboda in relation to the Gomel Regional Court.
For “intention to commit sabotage,” 44-year-old Yury Selvich was sentenced to 14 years in prison, and 36-year-old Sergei Pleshkun to 16 years.
The Belarusians were detained in March 2022. They were charged with charges under seven articles of the Criminal Code:

Illegal production of objects, the harmful effect of which is based on the use of flammable substances,

terrorist act,
-
Organization of actions that seriously violate public order,

Causing the breakdown of a vehicle or means of communication,

property damage,
-
inciting hatred,
-
Creation of an extremist formation.
There are three children in the Selvich family, and Pleshkun has two children.
Recall that the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on the formation of a commission to work with citizens who have committed crimes but want to return to their homeland.
