Vladimir Zelensky will arrive in the UK on February 8. There he will meet Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. This is reported by a greeting from Sky News with reference to the office of the British Prime Minister.

This will be Zelenskiy’s first visit to the UK since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Since then, the President of Ukraine has made only one trip to the United States, and also stopped in Poland on the way back.

President Zelensky’s visit to the UK is a testament to his country’s courage, determination and struggle, and a testament to the unbreakable friendship between the two countries. Since 2014, the United Kingdom has been providing essential training to the Ukrainian military, enabling them to defend their country, defend their sovereignty and fight for their territory,” Sunak said.

The British prime minister added that London is expanding the training of soldiers from Ukraine from soldiers to marines and fighter pilots.
