The Turkish Ambassador thanked Ukraine for the help after the earthquake

The death toll in the earthquake in Turkey has reached 5,434 with 31,777 injured. This last time it was reported about 4544 dead.

Turkey greatly appreciates the support that Ukraine has provided in difficult times for itself. The country’s authorities thank the leadership and the Ukrainian people for their solidarity. This was announced on Tuesday, February 7, by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Ukraine Yagmur Gulder.

“This is a huge disaster that has caused thousands of people to suffer and die. President Zelensky today signed an order to provide humanitarian aid to Turkey. We are contacting the government of Ukraine about the aid that this, and we greatly appreciate this support in difficult times for Ukraine,” he said.

The diplomat also paid attention to flowers, toys, lamps, which were brought to the embassy by caring Ukrainians as a sign of grief for those who died as a result of the earthquake.

It is known that almost six thousand people died in the earthquake in Turkey. At the same time, almost 35 thousand people were injured.

It should be noted that four people in need of housing and eight people who want to evacuate from the Gaziantep region turned to the Ukrainian Embassy in Turkey.
