The business will not continue to work in the near future due to serious damage. In addition, the thermal power plant was damaged in the city.
Russia’s missile strikes have actually destroyed the kremenchug oil refinery and the business will not be able to continue work until the end of the year. This was stated at a briefing on May 5 by the head of the military administration of the Poltava region, Dmitry Lunin, reports Kremenchutska Gazeta.
According to him, the destruction of the refinery “has reached large dimensions.”
“The Kremenchug Oil Refinery, as far as I understand, will not work this year. They do not plan to lay off people there. Everyone is left at work and must fix the business,” the OVA head specified.
Lunin noted that at the moment the work is to restore the Kremenchug thermal power plant – it should resume work before the cold weather. According to preliminary estimates, it will require 500 to 800 million hryvnias.
“There is no action yet on the CHPP. But the initial amount is from 500 to 800 million hryvnias. We reported it to the Office of the President and to the Cabinet of Ministers … The Regional Council can provide from 30 to 50 million hryvnias, plus the city will provide, and there is a private investor there .. Together we must revive the thermal power plant, “the governor said.
It was previously reported that about 180 thousand residents of Kremenchug could be left without heat and hot water in the next heating season due to the destruction of the thermal power plant of Russia’s missiles.
Recall that on April 2, Russian troops carried out an air strike on the Kremenchug Oil Refinery and on the surrounding fuel and lubricant warehouses.
