This time, for unknown reasons, an oil refinery in the city of Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia caught fire. The regional prosecutor’s office has already organized an investigation into the fact of a fire at an industrial enterprise. Employees of the Kstovo City Prosecutor’s Office left for the scene. As you know, this refinery belongs to the Russian corporation Lukoil. The capacity of the oil refining enterprise is 17 million tons per year.
The last time a fire at the Kstovo oil depot occurred on March 22, 2022. At the same time, the fire area was 500 square meters. m, burned seven tanks with diesel fuel.
Recall that on February 4, in the Belgorod region of Russia, a plant located in the village of Borisovka was on fire. Local authorities claimed that the fire was allegedly caused by shells.
