The market of new commercial vehicles in Ukraine decreased by 26% in January

The Ukrainian fleet of new trucks and commercial vehicles (of all classes) in January decreased by 26% compared to January last year – to 703 units, which is also a quarter less than in December 2022, reports of Ukravtoprom.

The Renault brand showed the best result – 300 registered cars (against 111 units in January 2022 and second place in the ranking), Fiat was in second place – 55 cars, occupying third place a year earlier with 81 cars registered.

The third result is for Mercedes-Benz – 42 units (a year earlier – the sixth place and 58 cars).

Also in the TOP-5 of the rating of brands are Ford – 41 units (20 less than in January 2022) and Volvo – 39 (a year earlier it was not in the top 20 of the rating, and in December 2022 it entered in the top three).

Recall that the British car manufacturer Bentley Motors sold more than 15,000 premium cars in 2022 for the first time in its history.

Earlier it was reported that despite the energy crisis in Ukraine, provoked by Russian strikes on energy infrastructure facilities, the demand for electric vehicles in the country continues to grow.
