At a meeting of the State Commission for Fuel and Energy and Emergency Situations, the Prime Minister gave several instructions to speed up the restoration of critical infrastructure in the Kherson region.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said what steps have been taken to provide the residents of the liberated Kherson region with everything they need.
“After the liberation of Kherson, the president clearly defined the urgent tasks: the restoration of all life support systems, humanitarian demining, help to people at work to return home, the safety of the population. According to OVA , about 170 thousand consumers (about 71%) of the Kherson region are provided with electricity. work of 30 repair teams. At the same time, the restoration of the electricity supply requires additional demining,” said Denys Shmygal.
He also mentioned that he gave the task to the Ministry of Infrastructure to coordinate the work of providing the Kherson region with additional municipal equipment units from the regions to carry out the necessary work.
“In addition, an additional batch of Starlink systems will arrive in Ukraine, some of which will be sent to the Kherson region. I have given the task to immediately ensure the opening and filling of Indestructibility Points in 133 settlements where there are no electricity supply, so that people can get access to everything they need,” the prime minister summed up.
Earlier, Denys Shmyhal said that additional generators were sent to the Odessa region. The Ministry of Energy last night managed to increase the duration of the supply of light to people, however, due to the start of the working week, consumption increased.
It will be remembered that in the temporarily occupied Gola Pristan, Kherson region, the Russians fired at a civilian vehicle in which there were two adults and a child.
