Iran received weapons captured on the battlefield in Ukraine.
The aggressor country, the Russian Federation, handed over these weapons to the Iranian side. The Iranians will be engaged in its reconstruction. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal.
Moscow has provided Iran with weapons seized from the battlefield in Ukraine, which they are trying to reconstruct, officials say.
Media reports that Moscow and Tehran continue to develop closer ties in various areas. These countries recently merged their interbank payment messaging systems, paving the way for all Iranian banks to transact with Russian creditors.
Iran also agreed to transfer ballistic missiles to Russia. So far, there is no indication that they have already been sent to the Russian Federation.
Recall that in November 2022, the British TV channel Sky News reported that Russia handed over to Iran samples of weapons seized in Ukraine – the British NLAW anti-tank missile, the American Javelin anti-tank missile and the Stinger anti-aircraft missile.
Also, information appeared in the media that Moscow was preparing to transfer up to 24 Su-35 aircraft to Tehran in exchange for kamikaze drones.
