The rocket attack on Kharkov took place on Sunday, February 5.
The Russian military attacked the city with two S-300 missiles. Explosions occurred in the central part of the regional center. Authorities urged local residents to be in shelters until the end of the air raid. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, announced this on Telegram.
Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov said that two enemy rockets fell in the Kievsky district of the city. Information about the dead is not yet available. Employees of the State Emergency Service are working at the place of arrival, clearing the rubble and conducting a search operation.
One of the missiles hit a residential area in the center of Kharkov. A fire broke out in one of the houses, there is one victim.
Subsequently, the head of the OVA reported three casualties as a result of the shelling of Kharkov. A 54-year-old woman was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds. Two more men, aged 51 and 55, were treated on the spot.
Recall that the ship grouping of Russian troops in the Black Sea has decreased, but the Ukrainian military believes that this may indicate that the enemy is preparing for a new missile attack on Ukraine.
