The National Council began to prepare proposals for a comprehensive plan for the restoration of Ukraine after the war.
The National Council for Reconstruction after the war in Russia was created in Ukraine. This was announced on Thursday, May 5, by the Office of Reforms of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“On May 5, began the first meetings of working groups created under the National Council for the Restoration of Ukraine from the Consequences of War. The main task of the groups in the coming weeks will be to study current situation and develop proposals for a plan for the restoration and development of Ukraine within the United24, “the report said.
Working groups under the National Council include people’s representatives, government representatives, the Office of the President, central and local executive authorities, local government, business, non-governmental and international organizations, Ukrainian and international experts.
The main objective of the Plan is not only the restoration of destroyed or destroyed facilities, but the radical transformation of the state in a new European country on the principles of a green economy.
The recovery plan will have two dimensions: parametric and regional.
“The National Council, based on the proposals of the working groups, will determine the parameters for the restoration and modernization of each sector of the economy. Partner countries, sister cities or corporations will help in the restoration of a particular city or region of Ukraine, “the statement said.
The recovery plan will be funded from a special Fund, which accumulates and redistributes funds.
Funding will be drawn from the following sources: assistance from partner countries, international financial organizations, international humanitarian organizations and charitable foundations; frozen, confiscated assets of the Russian Federation; contributions from large international corporations; private contributions.
One of the elements of the Fund is the online fundraising platform United 24, the launch of which was announced today by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Authorities estimate $ 600 billion will be needed to bring Ukraine back.
