Putin was told that Western intelligence in Ukraine would not prevent Russia from achieving its goals.
The Kremlin said Russia could achieve its goals in Ukraine despite the fact that Kyiv was receiving intelligence from Western partners. This was announced on Thursday, May 5, by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, Reuters reports.
According to him, the Russian command knows that the United States, Britain and other NATO countries continue to transmit intelligence data to the Ukrainian military. At the same time, Peskov said it would not prevent Russia from achieving its goals.
In this way, Peskov responded to a New York Times report that the United States had provided intelligence to help Ukrainian forces remove Russian generals.
It was previously reported that intelligence provided by the United States to Ukraine was used for several attacks on command centers where Russian generals were killed.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two Russian generals on the territory of the Kherson region.
It was also reported that another general of the Russian Federation was liquidated near Chernobaevka
