The Russian Federation will give priority to supplying new weapons to its own forces in Ukraine, and not to the supply of export partners.

The ability of the Russian Federation to maintain support services for existing export contracts, such as the supply of weapons, spare parts and maintenance, will be seriously impaired for at least the next three to five years . About that saying goodbye British Ministry of Defence.

It was noted that even before the invasion, Russia’s share of the world arms market was declining. Now the Russian Federation is likely to give priority to the supply of new weapons to its own forces in Ukraine, and not to the supply of export partners.

The component shortages are affecting export production of armored vehicles, attack helicopters and air defense systems, British intelligence said.

Recall that Russia’s military-industrial complex is experiencing a shortage of critically needed microelectronics in connection with sanctions imposed by Western countries.

Earlier, GUR reported that Russia began to use a strategic stock of several types of weapons, as well as missiles produced this year.
