Russian aggressors are conducting offensive operations in the Donetsk region and are preparing for offensives in several other areas. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening briefing on Wednesday, February 1.
“The enemy is actively conducting reconnaissance, preparing for an offensive in several directions. Despite heavy losses, it continues to attempt offensive operations in the directions of Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky,” the message said.
It is indicated that today the enemy launched two missile strikes – on the civilian infrastructure of the settlements of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region – and two air strikes. 24 enemy attacks from MLRS were recorded.
In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions no offensive groups of the enemy were found. Enemy troops are being trained at the Belarusian training ground. At the same time, the Russians did not stop shelling the border areas of Ukrainian settlements. Among them are Klyusy and Elino of the Chernihiv region; Ekaterinovka, Volkovka, Aleksandrovka and Volfino – Sumy and Veterinary, Neskuchnoe, Ternovo, Ogurtsovo, Volchansk and Budarki of the Kharkov region.
In the direction of Kupyansky the districts of Dvurechnaya, Ivanovka, Kupyansk, Kislovka, Kotlyarovka, Starch and Sandy of the Kharkov region and Novoselovsky and Stelmakhivka of the Lugansk region fell under enemy fire.
Directed by Liman the enemy fired at Nevskoe and Dibrova in the Luhansk region and Terny and Serebryanka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut Tanks and artillery shelled the areas of settlements Verkhnekamennoye, Disputable, Belogorovka, Vesele, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Stupochki, Druzhba and New York of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Avdeevsky Avdeevka, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Krasnogorovka, Georgievka, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka fell under enemy fire.
In the direction of Novopavlovsk Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechistovka, Bolshaya Novoselka and Neskuchnoe of the Donetsk region are under artillery.
In the direction of Zaporozhye more than 20 settlements fell under enemy fire, in particular, Vremovka of the Donetsk region and Poltavka, Malinovka, Gulyaipole, Volshebnoe and Novodanilovka of the Zaporozhye region.
In the direction of Kherson Kherson, as well as Dmitrovka in the Nikolaev region, came under artillery shelling.
In turn, units of missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit three places of concentration of manpower and a command post of the Russian aggressors in one day.
Remember that since the beginning of the war, Russia has lost more than 128 thousand people who died. In just one day on January 31, at least 920 aggressors were eliminated.
