US President Joe Biden will visit Central Europe in February. One of these days it will be known which countries he will visit. This was announced at a press conference in Riga by the Presidents of Poland and Latvia, Andrzej Duda and Egils Levits, Ukrinform reports on Wednesday, February 1.
“We are looking forward to the visit of President Joe Biden. President Biden will probably come to our part of Europe in February,” Duda said.
He recalled that Central Europe was the territory from Romania to Estonia.
“We don’t have such information (which countries Biden will visit – ed.). Perhaps we will find out in the next few days. Every visit of the US President at a very difficult moment in this part of Europe, near The place of the conflict in Ukraine, is security,” said Duda.
And Egils Levits emphasized that this visit by Biden will be a very important signal for all allies, as well as for the aggressor country Russia.
Earlier on Wednesday, Polish media reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky and Joe Biden may meet in Poland on the anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. At the moment, two cities are being considered for the visit – Warsaw and Rzeszow.
