The Metropolitan Police conduct searches on February 1 in the rented premises of the organizers of drunken parties.
On January 31, Toronto Television journalist Yaroslava Kravchenko and several activists published posts about guys who met girls in Kyiv and had parties with alcohol and drugs.
Live, the men mocked the girls, who were unconscious or in a state of extreme intoxication.
After publicity, the police established the defendants and their whereabouts.
As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, the necessary investigative and search activities are being carried out in the capital and other regions of the state. In particular, operatives from the criminal investigation department and the migration police, together with investigators from the procedural leadership of prosecutors, conduct searches at the addresses of residence and in the rented apartments of the defendants. More detailed information will be published later, the capital’s police said.
Background
The day before, the host and founder of the Wild Theater, Yaroslava Kravchenko, published a message about a group of guys who throw parties, invite girls there, pump them up with alcohol and, probably, drugs, and then film them unconscious. Then, on Instagram and in closed groups on Telegram, they publish videos and photos of the intimate organs of fainting, as well as scenes of rape of unconscious girls.
Subsequently, information about these parties was also spread by other activists and social media users. Public writes that Kravchenko deleted the message on Facebook and part of the stories on Instagram, but continues to monitor the situation.
According to her, the guys who throw parties have moved to the capital from Ivano-Frankivsk and are engaged in cryptocurrency. She also indicated that she had the full name and registration of the car of the “chief” of the organizers.
After the publicity, one of the organizers posted a video on Telegram, in which a half-naked girl says that “she herself does not know the measure.” In the caption to the video, the guy tried to absolve himself of responsibility: “After this, you want to say that I am pumping someone up.”
