The US Department of Commerce has blacklisted seven organizations from Iran for aiding the Russian Armed Forces and its military-industrial complex. A notice of this was received on Tuesday in the electronic database of the Federal Register.

The list includes several businesses in the aviation industry, as well as the Air Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

“These seven organizations are determined by the US government to act against the interests of the national security or foreign policy of the United States, assisting the Russian Armed Forces and its military-industrial complex,” the text of the document said.

Those on the list “contributed to the Russian Armed Forces and its military-industrial complex by producing Iranian drones, which were transferred to Russia for use in Ukraine.”

It was previously reported that the EU has imposed sanctions against the Iranian manufacturer of drones.
