Iran has threatened retaliation over reports of Israeli involvement in the Isfahan emergency, warning Jerusalem “not to play with fire.”
Israel’s security services on January 30 began preparing for a possible retaliation by Iran after a series of attacks on targets in Tehran, for which Israel was blamed. This was reported by The Time of Israel.
As you know, Iran has threatened retaliation in connection with reports of Israel’s participation in the state of emergency in Isfahan, warning Jerusalem “not to play with fire.”
“Israel knows very well that it will get a response, as it has done in the past. Those who play with fire will be the first to burn if they decide to start a regional war,” the Iranian official said.
In addition to retaliating against targets inside Israel, security services are preparing for the possibility that Iran will target Israeli tourists, officials and embassies abroad.
Recall that on the night of January 28-29, a series of explosions thundered in Iran at strategic facilities – at military warehouses, an ammunition production center, an air base, and oil refineries.
And on Sunday evening, two new explosions were reported in Iran.
The strikes targeted convoys carrying weapons and ammunition to Tehran-backed militants in Syria.
According to the newspaper, these airstrikes followed a more serious drone attack on a major weapons production facility in Iranian Isfahan. It is understood that the area affected by Saturday’s strike was a weapons factory for Iran’s Shahed-136 drones.
Legitimate target. As evidenced by the unprecedented drone attacks on Iran
