Over the past day, the defenders of Ukraine repulsed the attacks of Russian invaders in the areas of 13 settlements – Novoselovsky and Belogorivka of the Luhansk region, as well as Yampolevka, Disputed, Krasnaya Gora, Paraskoveevka, Bakhmut, Klescheevka, Ivanovsky, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Pervomaisky and Ugle.
Also, the Ukrainian military hit three enemy command posts, eight concentration areas and two sets of decisive ammunition. This was announced today, January 31, in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the enemy, having suffered heavy losses, continues to conduct offensive operations in the Liman and Bakhmut directions, and also conducts unsuccessful offensive operations in the Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions.
In the Kupyansk and Zaporozhye directions, the enemy defends the previously captured lines.
There is a despondency of the personnel of the units of the Russian Federation in the decisions of their own military-political leadership and the exhaustion of personnel from the intensity of hostilities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes.
In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the situation did not change significantly, and no enemy offensive groupings were detected. Enemy units are being trained at the training grounds of Belarus.
