Explosions were reported at the IRGC headquarters in the city of Mahabad and an airstrike on a convoy of Iranian trucks.

In Iran on the night of Sunday, January 29, there were explosions at the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This was reported by journalist Gurbakshi Singh Chahala on Twitter.

“Explosions occurred at the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the Iranian city of Mahabad. The cause of the explosions is currently unknown,” he wrote.

There is also information about airstrikes on a convoy of Iranian trucks in the Abu Kamal area on the border of Iraq and Syria. Israeli state channel Kan 11 reported that the attack was directed at a convoy of 25 Iranian trucks in the Abu Kamal area.

Recall that on the night of January 28-29, a series of explosions occurred in Iran at strategic facilities – at military warehouses, an ammunition production center, an air base, and oil refineries. The Iranian Ministry of Defense later confirmed the incident, but called it an “unsuccessful attempt.”

The Israeli media wrote about the “remarkable success” of the attack on Iran
