Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the attacks of Russian invaders in the areas of 12 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
This was announced today, January 28, in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Lugansk region and Razdolivka, Krasnaya Gora, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Kleschievka, Druzhba, Vodyanoye, Maryinka, Pobeda, Vuhledar and Prechistovka, Donetsk region.
The enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions. On the Kupyansky, Limansky, Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, it is defending.
In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the situation did not change significantly – no enemy offensive groupings were found.
It is noted that over the past day, the Russian invaders:
- carried out 10 missile strikes, one of them on the civilian infrastructure of Zaporozhye;
- carried out 26 air strikes;
- carried out 81 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems, in particular, at civilian targets in the city of Ochakovo.
As a result of Russian shelling, civilians were injured and died. The threat of air and missile strikes remains throughout Ukraine.
