Secret documents from the home of the President of the United States include his personal notes made while he was vice president.
The FBI seized his notebooks from one of US President Joe Biden’s homes, where he made notes during his tenure as vice president. They are among the classified documents seized by the FBI in Delaware. This was reported by NBC News, citing a source familiar with the investigation.
It was noted that the notebooks are of interest to the investigation, as some of Biden’s records relate to his official activities as vice president, including details of his diplomatic activities during Obama’s presidency, and may contain classified information, the source said.
According to this person, the notebooks contain Biden’s notes on various subjects, both personal and official.
Some pages in the notebooks, while not containing potentially classified information, could still be considered public property under the Presidential Records Act because they relate to official business handled by Biden as vice president.
Previously, the President’s legal team found classified documents in his former office at the Penn Biden Center in October and turned them over to the Justice Department under the procedure. This was done behind the scenes, but leaked to the media.
Later, Biden’s lawyers found several more batches of classified documents.
