State awards were given to three officers from the Netherlands, as well as officers from Denmark and France.
President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree granting state awards to five foreign officials.
The awards are awarded “for a significant personal contribution to the strengthening of interstate cooperation, support for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
According to the decree, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 1st class, and the Chairman of the National Assembly of the French Republic, Yael Bron-Pivé, was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 2nd class.
The Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Karin Gildur Ollongren and Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Elisabeth Nelly Anna Schreinemacher were awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise III degree.
The Order of Princess Olga, 1st Class, was awarded to Matte Frederiksen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Remember, on January 19, Zelensky presented the Order of Merit of the 1st degree to the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
Lithuania also reportedly awarded Zelensky with the Freedom Prize.
