Russian troops launched missile and bomb attacks on Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Lisichansk and Zolote-4, conducting attack operations in the Popasnaya area. During the day, two civilians were killed, the head of the military administration of the Luhansk region, Sergei Gaidai, said on May 4.
“Yesterday, each of our cities suffered from the enemy. Four communities withstood missile and bomb attacks. Not only are the Russians destroying Popasnaya, they are removing it from the map of the Luhansk region as “The enemy has hit residential areas of the region 34 times,” the governor stressed.
In particular, the enemy made ten attacks of Lisichansk, eight – of Severodonetsk, ten more – of Popasnyanskaya and Gorskaya communities.
45 houses and other items were damaged.
In Lisichansk, the building of the Luhansk Regional Medical Center for Dangerous Infectious Diseases and one of the schools were engulfed in fire. In Sirotino – the only school in the village, in Severodonetsk – a shopping center.
Two people were killed – a woman from Lisichansk and a man from Popasna, two other women from Lisichansk were injured.
