The night attack of drones and the morning missile strike of Russia claimed the lives of 11 Ukrainians. This was announced on January 26 by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
11 people died in Ukraine as a result of a night attack by drones and a morning missile attack by Russia, a spokesman for the State Emergency Service said.
Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny said that during today’s massive missile attack on Ukraine, Russia carried out 55 launches of air and sea-based missiles. The Russian army launched Kh-101, Kh-555, Kh-47 “Kinzhal”, “Kalibr”, Kh-59 missiles from Tu-95, Su-35, MiG-31K aircraft and ships from the Black Sea. The air defense forces destroyed 47 cruise missiles, 20 of them in the Kyiv area. Three of the four Kh-59 guided missiles did not reach their targets.
Subsequently, the facts of the hits were reported by the authorities of the Vinnitsa region, where there were no casualties, Odessa region – two critical infrastructure facilities were damaged there, but also without human casualties. In the Kyiv region, a hit on an energy facility was also recorded. Two explosions thundered in Kyiv – in Dneprovsky (destroyed high-voltage equipment at a power facility) and in Goloseevsky districts. One person died in the capital, two were injured.
Power supply problems caused by shelling are observed throughout Ukraine.
