The businessman offered the “ex-head of the DPR Ministry of Defense” to come to the occupied territory of Ukraine and show his skills “in one of the attack units.”
Founder of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin invited the so-called “ex-Minister of Defense of the DPR” Igor Girkin (Strelkov) to join his group in Ukraine. This was announced on January 26 by the press service of the businessman.
“I, as the senior leader of PMC Wagner, invite Mr. Girkin to the front to check the correctness of his position and use, as he said, his combat experience. I suggest that he come to the territory of “LNR ” to be assigned to a leadership position, according to his ability, in one of the attack units. Of course, no one can offer him a high position, for this you need to show your abilities . It’s time to move from words to deeds, ” Prigozhin said.
So, he commented on Girkin’s criticism of himself. Earlier, he said that Prigozhin is “a person with a background of a criminal and a servant,” who should not be allowed in the public sphere of the Russian Federation.
Girkin published a “preliminary” response, in which he refused to go to the “LNR”, but expressed his readiness for “normal business negotiations” with the military personnel of the PMC.
“So far I have not received any specific proposals – I can only say that I am ready to consider them in the form of normal business negotiations with the military employees of the PMCs. Nothing yet, nothing short . .. Go to “LPR” (I’m not there anymore, as at the end of November last year) only to listen to proposals that may be obviously unacceptable for me – not ready yet,” he wrote on Telegram.
It will be remembered that on December 6 last year, Girkin announced that he returned to Moscow.
GUR guarantees $100,000 for Girkin’s capture
