The Russian aggressors have not yet carried out major offensive operations in the direction of Zaporozhye, but they have strengthened their grouping. “Currently, there is no evidence of any strong accumulation and creation of an enemy strike force in the direction of Zaporizhia. But it should be noted that the enemy has strengthened its grouping, and in the event of the transfer of additional forces and reserves, it may get signs of one who is capable of moving into more active action,” Yerin said on the air of the telethon.
The main force of the group, according to him, are mechanized units and territorial defense troops. There is no information about PMC Wagner, he specified.
Yerin also added that now the situation remains difficult in the direction of Tavria. In particular, hostile shelling of civilian and critical infrastructure continues.
Earlier it was reported that Russian troops tried to advance in small groups in southern Ukraine, in particular, in the direction of Zaporozhye, but were defeated and retreated.
