Russian military personnel are still on the territory of Belarus neighboring Ukraine.
At present, there are 5,800 Russian soldiers on the territory of Belarus. However, a week ago this contingent of enemy troops numbered about 11 thousand soldiers and officers. This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Vadim Skibitsky on the air of the national telethon.
According to him, the second mechanized division from Russia has already moved to the Russian territory of Russia, including the territory of the Luhansk region occupied by the enemy. Now Belarus includes units of the sixth division and units of territorial troops for training.
Skibitsky added that now Belarus has a completely different contingent, which was at the beginning of the Russian full-scale offensive. As of January 25, there is no powerful aviation component on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, despite training. In addition, there is no powerful missile component, no airborne troops.
The GUR noted that at present Belarus has one division of Iskander missile systems, S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems and three MIG-31 aircraft.
Recall that the Nasha Niva publication, citing its own sources, reported that Russian soldiers were being dumped into Belarus in tanks. Probably, in this way Russia is trying to hide the scale of the rollover from satellite and visual observation.
