In the Rivne region, there was a horrific accident with a fuel tanker, a minibus and a regular bus.
Not far from the village of Sitnoye, Dubensky district, Rivne region, a fatal accident occurred involving a fuel truck, a shuttle bus and a passenger vehicle. 27 people died in the accident. About 16 victims were previously reported. The information on Tuesday, May 3, was clarified by Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“In a horrific accident in the Rivne region, where a minibus, a fuel truck and a passenger bus collided, police investigators found 27 remains of the dead,” he said.
He said that of the 38 passengers on the bus, only 12 survived.
Also, according to him, he survived, but the driver of the fuel truck was in serious condition.
At the same time, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz Vito minibus died, which, according to preliminary versions, was the culprit of the biggest tragedy on the roads of Ukraine in the past decade.
Recall that a mass accident occurred on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Sytnoye, Dubensky district.
