About five thousand unemployed citizens of Ukraine have already joined the Restoration Army project. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
Deputy Economy Minister Tatyana Berezhnaya said that the project is already fully operational in 10 regions. For their work, its participants will receive payment in the amount of UAH 6,700, which is more than the usual payment of unemployment benefits.
“Therefore, participation in this program is beneficial for the unemployed. Last year, the state financed the implementation of such work for UAH 29 million. In 2023, UAH 104 million is provided for this,” he said.
Berezhnaya added that the type of work depends on the needs of a particular region: in one place they defend nature, while in others it may be the elimination of the consequences of emergencies.
