The heads of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Security Service of Ukraine Kirill Budanov and Vasily Malyuk held a joint working meeting.

The leaders of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense discussed future special operations that will bring Ukraine’s victory closer. – The victory of Ukraine will definitely come! In order to speed it up, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense are working in close cooperation 24/7.
The SBU emphasizes that the consequences of this workshop “will be the best evidence of effective and well-coordinated communication between the two departments.”
The main thing is that we have a common understanding of very specific steps that bring Ukraine’s victory closer. The results of the interaction between the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense will very quickly feel the enemy – the occupiers are waiting for new next surprises, – said Malysh.
Probably, the purpose of this meeting was to demonstrate the unity of both departments after Budanov’s recent high-profile statements.
Thus, Budanov recently stated in an interview that an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate and a participant in Ukrainian-Russian negotiations in Belarus, Denis Kireev, was killed in an SBU car. According to Budanov, the then head of the SBU, Ivan Bakanov, “couldn’t really explain anything,” so this was their last conversation.
