More than 400 thousand Ukrainians left for Germany

Of those forced to leave their homes because of the war, most were women, children and the elderly.

More than 400 thousand refugees from Ukraine came to Germany. This was announced on May 3 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

It was noted that the federal police have registered 400,632 Ukrainians, most of them women, children and the elderly.

The number of Ukrainian children admitted to educational institutions in Germany has reached almost 92,000.

Recall, according to the UN, more than 5.5 million people have left Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian aggression.

Earlier it was reported that from June the German authorities will increase social payments to Ukrainian refugees and strengthen job search support.
