With each meeting in the Ramstein format, the trust of our partners in Ukraine grows, the Minister of Defense said.
The ninth meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine (Ramstein 9) is scheduled for February. This was announced by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov in Twitter on Monday, January 23rd.
“I came home after Ramstein-8. At every meeting, I see how the trust of our partners in Ukraine is growing. It’s all thanks to the hard work of our soldiers and representatives. More trust means more weapons. To protect our land, sea… and sky! Rammstein 9 will take place in February,” he wrote.
Recall that on January 20, during Ramstein-8, no decision was made to move tanks to Ukraine. At the same time, Germany made it clear that they are preparing to deliver the Leopard 2 tanks as soon as possible if a decision is made in favor of the delivery.
And Reznikov himself said that Ukraine agreed to train its tanks with German Leopard 2 tanks.
The Office of the President believes that the next meeting in the Ramstein format will be devoted to the supply of aircraft for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
