At the home of US President Joe Biden in Wilmington, Delaware, FBI investigators found new classified documents. CNN reported this with reference to the words of the American President’s lawyer Bob Bauer.
So Biden’s lawyer said that on Friday in a search that lasted 13 hours, the US Department of Justice found six documents marked “secret” and related materials.
It was noted that the documents found were related to Biden’s work in the Senate and as vice president. Investigators also seized Biden’s personal handwritten notes from those times for further study.
CNN reported that the FBI raided the home of the US president with the consent of his lawyers and in their presence. Biden himself and his wife Jill were absent during the search.
Previously, the President’s legal team found classified documents in his former office at the Penn Biden Center in October and turned them over to the Justice Department under the procedure. This was done behind the scenes, but was leaked to the media this week.
Later, Biden’s lawyers found another batch of classified documents.
