Kyiv and Moscow can only sign a document on the surrender of the aggressor country, Zelensky said.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said on Monday, May 2, that there was no peace agreement with Russia – only its surrender was possible. He said this on the air of the telethon.
“In Russia, we can only sign its surrender. The sooner they do it, the more benefits it will be for their country,” Danilov said.
In his opinion, the war will not end immediately. A change in the confrontation between Ukraine and Russia has not yet taken place, “but it will inevitably happen, given the amount of aid Ukraine receives.”
It will be recalled that last week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that due to Russia’s continued atrocities against Ukraine, the risk of finally stopping the peace talks was very high.
