After a partial evacuation of civilians from the territory of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, Russian troops continued to harass business. This was reported on Monday, May 2, on the Telegram channel of the Azov regiment.
According to defenders, the entire territory of Azovstal is under constant enemy fire, including buildings where civilians are hiding from danger. The invaders conduct airstrikes and also use naval artillery and tanks.

Mariupol patrol police chief Mikhail Vershinin, also spoke about Azovstal’s ongoing shelling in a commentary on CNN.
“Artillery and naval artillery continue to fire. Air strikes continue to be delivered. There are a large number of wounded here. Everyone is moving towards the destruction of the facility,” he said and announced the need to evacuate the civilians and the wounded.
“We would like to consider the evacuation option for the military contingent,” Vershinin added.
Recall, the Mariupol City Council reported that on Tuesday, May 3, with the support of the UN and Red Cross, the evacuation of civilians from the city will continue.
