Dmitry Peskov once again repeated the blatant lie that the Russian aggressors were not attacking residential buildings.

The Kremlin has denied accusations against Russia in connection with the strike on a residential building in the city of Dnipro. This is what the spokesman of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, said on Monday, January 16.

He repeated the blatant lie that the Russian aggressors did not harm residential buildings or social infrastructure facilities.

“The strikes are carried out on military targets, either obvious or disguised. You saw for yourself the conclusions of some representatives of the Ukrainian side, who said that this tragedy (in Dnipro – ed.) is the result of the action of air defense counter -missiles,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

Recall that on January 14, the aggressor country of Russia attacked the cities of Ukraine, firing 38 missiles of various types. In particular, the invaders hit a nine-story house in Dnipro with 16 entrances, where about 1,700 people live. At least 35 people died and 75 others were injured.

According to the Air Force, the house was attacked by a Kh-22 missile, which is designed to destroy aircraft carrier groups at sea and may be equipped with a nuclear weapon.

The next day, the RF Ministry of Defense reported on the strike on “designated objects.”
