All aggressors are responsible for attacks on residential buildings and other civilian objects, the leader of Lithuania stressed.
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda called the Russian Federation a terrorist state and stressed that the aggressor country must be held accountable for attacks on civilian facilities in Ukraine and the killing of civilians, such as today’s missile attack on Dnieper. On Saturday, January 14, the leader of Lithuania wrote Twitter.
“Russia is a terrorist country. Wherever they go, they bring destruction, death and great suffering,” the publication said.
As Nauseda noted, the atrocities committed by the Russian invaders, massacres, attacks on residential buildings – as happened this Saturday in the Dnieper – “will never be forgiven and forgotten.”
“The time will come for responsibility,” he wrote.
Nausėda also recalled Lithuania’s support for Ukraine.
Earlier, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda announced the provision of anti-aircraft systems and air defense systems to Ukraine as part of military aid.
Also, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense announced the directions of military support to Ukraine for 2023.
