An Indiana lab employee has been fired after making vicious threats against the family of Rep. Eric Swalwell

An Indiana lab employee has been fired from his company following threats he allegedly sent against Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) and his family.

Those threats and others came in the wake of another attack on Swalwell by incoming House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), who again vowed to remove Swalwell from the House Standing Committee on Intelligence.

A tweet sent to Swalwell on Friday night by the account of lab operator Jonathan Reeser vowed to “smash” Swalwell’s “bloody face” if he ever saw him in person and said he wanted the MP’s family “raped and killed”. .

Swallow repost the message on Twitter to find Reeser.

Soon after, Patients Choice Laboratories released a statement on Saturday saying an employee, whom it did not name, had been fired “effective immediately” following an internal investigation into the comments.

The diagnostic lab company in Indianapolis, Indiana, said it was “shocked” by the comments made by the fired employee.

“We do not support or condone abusive or threatening behavior,” the company said. “These comments not only violate our social media policy, they violate our company’s moral and ethical standards and will not be tolerated.”

Reeser apparently took a hot cue from McCarthy, who blasted Swalwell as a “security threat” who couldn’t serve on the House committee.

McCarthy criticized Swalwell for his ties to an alleged Chinese spy whom he helped raise money for his re-election bid nine years ago. But Swalwell, who calls McCarthy’s attacks “slander”, has never been implicated in any wrongdoing against the suspected spy, who has also been linked to other politicians.

Swalwell immediately cut ties with her when he was alerted by the FBI. However, the FBI praised Swalwell for being “fully collaborative” with the investigation he made of the woman and that he was never suspected.

However, Thursday McCarthy insisted: “If you had the information we got from the FBI, you wouldn’t have Swalwell on any committee.”

Swalwell also posted other threats he received, including a chilling phone call earlier this week about being kicked off the committee, so swinging on the end of a rope.

Swalwell insists McCarthy is targeting him in revenge for his role as manager of the second impeachment of former President Donald Trump after the storming of the Capitol.

McCarthy is now using his attacks on Swalwell and the representatives. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) to raise funds.

“Clearly, President McCarthy is willing to trade my dead children — whose lives were directly threatened because of his lies — for a few dollars.” Swalwell tweeted on Saturday. “The FBI has repeatedly debunked his lies, but he continues to tell them for political revenge.”

Reeser could not be reached for comment.
