The Polish authorities made an important decision regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba in a conversation with journalist Vadym Karpyak, published on Instagram on Friday, January 13.
He noted that relevant news will emerge in the coming weeks.
“Since everyone is focused on tanks, I want to mention Poland. What the Polish government has decided, and this news will come out in January on the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine, and tanks in particular. This is more important than Leopard,” said Kuleba.
As the Foreign Minister explained, today, in the entire spectrum of the range of weapons, there are three big topics that remain “closed” – that is, there are no decisions on their provision to Ukraine: tanks, aircraft and long-range. missiles.
At the same time, Kuleba did not specify what kind of weapon the Polish side was talking about.
Recall that the Polish authorities decided to transfer a company of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine as part of an international coalition.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that the five countries are ready to transfer Leopard tanks to Ukraine, waiting for permission from Germany as a manufacturing country.
