Ukrainian fighters will begin operational training of American infantry fighting vehicles next week in Germany.
Ukrainian servicemen will begin training on the American infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) Bradley M2 next week. The learning process will take several weeks. This is what Pentagon Speaker Pat Ryder said in a briefing on Friday, January 13.
“Training should start for the most part next week in Germany,” he said.
According to him, the Ukrainians will undergo maneuver and combined arms training.
At the same time, the American official did not name a specific date for the delivery of BMPs to Ukraine, he said that it will be known when they begin to be used on the battlefield.
“You’ll see when the Bradleys arrive on the battlefield. Let Ukraine know about it. We expect this exercise to last weeks, not months,” Ryder said.
Athletistic previously reported that the Ukrainian military will begin learning how to operate the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle in January, which the United States will transfer to Ukraine.
Earlier it became known that the United States intends to provide Ukraine with Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, and Germany – Marder infantry fighting vehicles and an additional battery of the Patriot air defense system.
