Dmitry Peskov avoided a direct answer to the question of whether the Kremlin was satisfied with the actions of PMC Wagner mercenaries in Soledar.
The Russian occupiers do not control the city of Soledar in the Donetsk region. “The main work” is still ahead of them. This follows from the statement of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, which he made at a briefing on Thursday, January 12.
He said the occupying troops had done “a tremendous job” in Soledar.
“But there is still a lot of work ahead. This is not the time to stop, this is not the time to rub your hands, the main work is still ahead,” said Peskov.
At the same time, he avoided a direct answer to the question of whether the Kremlin was satisfied with the actions of the Wagner PMC mercenaries in Soledar, saying only that “we will admire and appreciate our heroes, we will remember the heroes who lost their heroes. alive, take care of the wounded.”
Remember that Soledar and Bakhmut are the two hottest points of the front right now. The Ukrainian military holds both cities and on the eve liquidated more than a hundred Russians in the Soledar area.
