Two Polish volunteers were wounded in Bakhmut

Two Polish volunteers were wounded in the Bakhmut area. They are currently in a hospital in Lublin. On Tuesday, January 10, the PA report.

The information was confirmed in the publication by Wojciech Andrusiewicz, a representative of the Ministry of Health of Poland. He said that a man and a woman deliver humanitarian aid to the local population in the frontline territories of Ukraine.

“They were dropping aid for the population from a car when a mortar mine exploded nearby. Unfortunately, in the case of a female volunteer, it all ended with the amputation of the lower leg. The man had a shrapnel wound of bullets,” he said.

Bakhmut remains one of the hot spots on the front. The troops of the Russian Federation are throwing large forces in this direction of the front. So far, they have not achieved a decisive victory.

It should be noted that two British volunteers who went to the city on January 6 disappeared near Soledar.

Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the fiercest fighting is happening in the direction of Bakhmut, and in the area of ​​Soledar in particular. The enemy throws the most combat-ready units into attacks.
