Over the past day, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment detained 12 men of military age at the state border, who intended to leave the territory of Ukraine outside the checkpoints. This was announced on January 10 by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
It was noted that five offenders 100 meters from the state border were detained by the border guards of the Bolshaya Boygan department. All detainees are residents of Transcarpathia.
A group of men was detained as a result of the implementation of the information provided by the officers of the search department in the operation of the servicemen of the Luzhanka department. In total, five people were detained, two of whom were organizers of the illegal transfer of men liable for military service across the border, the report said.
Also, according to information provided by operatives of the detachment, servicemen of the Vilok department stopped two more fugitives from mobilizing at a distance of 350 meters from the border – a resident of the village of Boronyava in Transcarpathia and a resident of the village of Dychkov, Ternopil region.
In total, in the first 10 days of 2023, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped 23 attempts to cross the border illegally, as a result of which 43 people of military age were detained.

A group of citizens who issued false documents to draft dodgers were also jailed.
